Vegan Kacha kela sukha masala(green plantains/bananas) in indian masala)


2 raw Plantains or green bananas(sliced and diced into 1/2 inches)
or raw jackfruit.

2 1/2 tblsp grated coconut(fresh or dry)
1/2 tblsp red kashmiri chilli
1/4 tsp Turmeric
1 tblsp tamarind pulp juice
1 tblsp corriander powder
1/2 tsp mustard powder
1 tsp mustars seeds(for tempering)
1/2 tsp cumin powder or seeds
3 garlic coves
5 -6 curry leaves dried or fresh
1/2 inch ginger root
1 medium onion diced
1 small tomato diced.
2 tblsp coconut oil

Preparation: Grind all the above spice with coconut to fine paste.
sautee the onions in the coconut oil till light golden brown.Add mustard seeds, then add curry leaves. Add diced tomato.
then add the ground spices with coconut and sautee for 5 minutes. Then add the raw cut plantains or
bananas.Cook then till well done( minutes).
