Indian bhel mix is the delightful snack eaten in india. It is known as the street comfort food in Mumbai. One will see food hawkers selling bhel mix, pani puri, pav bhaji and you name it.
I twisted this snack into a salad. Not just salad, but a healthy one. The rice puff is a mix of puffed rice, and other condiments made of wheat, flour and chick peas pre mix with himalayan salt, mango powder and salt.
2 Cups rice puff mix( gujarati bhel mix)
1/2 cup cut red cabbage
1/4 cup blue berries(any berries fine)
8-10 cherry tomatoes
1/4 cup cut cilantro
2-4 tsp grated green mango(skinned) optional
1 medium lime juice
Preparation: Mix all the above ingredients and toss really good with spatula or your own tongs(hands).Serve right away or you can keep it fresh for few hours. If you refigerate leftover, will make salad soggy.
