Lentils curry with Spinach(Masoor aur Palak ki dal)

I have added spinach.To name it you can add chard, chawli, lal matt.............. My mom used to make lentils atleast twice a week. We could not resist eating lentils. They are healthy and full of nutrients and more. Easy and tasty way to make lentils and more.
brown/red lentils(soak in 1 cup water for 30 mints)drain(Masoor dal) 2 cups water or
vegetable broth 2 medium sized red tomatoes 1 tsp tomato paste(tamatar) 2 cup
baby spinach leaves(opt/ add)either ways good(Palak) 1/2 medium sized onion(thinly
diced) 1 tsp red chilli powder(lal Mirch) 1 tsp taco seasoning(to make it more
flavorful) 1/2 tsp cumin powder(jeera)
1/4 tsp curry powder 1/4 tsp turmeric powder(only if u have or
skip)(Haldi) salt to taste(Namak) handful corriander leaves(cilantro) for
Preparation: Add all the above ingredients together and let it cook,
till it is well done. In a medium size pan take 1 tblsp olive oil for tempering
the lentils. Add red chilli flakes, Add 1/2 tblsp cumin seed,2-3 curry leaves(asian market)optional.
add 3 cloves garlic minced. When sizzling, add lentils to it. Garnish with
cilantro. Eat will rice, or as soup or anything you
prefer. I added some boiled eggs, I had left from the previous day.
