Spicy Mackerel curry(Tikka Bangda Cuddie)


1 medium sized mackerel(cleaned and cut in pieces)
5-6 dried kashmiri(any red chillies)
1/4 cup dry grated coconut(wet coconut)
1 medium sized onion
1/2 tblsp cumin(jeera) seeds
1/2 tblsp mustard(rai) seeds
2-4 fenugreek(methi) seeds
1/4 tsp caraway(ajwaiin) seeds
1/3 tsp turmeric powder
2-3 cloves of garlic
1/2 inch ginger root
Dried parsley for garnish
2 green chilies slit(optional)

Ingredients: Roast all the above spices on a griddle.Grind to fine paste on a mixer or grinder with water. Don't grind it to the extent it is too watery. In a medium sized pan add spice and water and let it simmer on the stove for 10-15 minutes.Add fish and let it cook for 5-8 minutes. Add slit chilies and then garnish with parsley. Very tasty and mouth watering recipes. Got to try this recipe. You can entertain the crowd with this delicious spicy curry.Can be served with white  rice and vegetable as a side dish.
