Description: The Bottle gourd is a vine grown for its fruit, which can either be harvested young and used as a vegetable. It is distributed widely in the tropics. New research has shown that bottle gourd is very effective in treating cardiovascular diseases and in pulmonary tuberculosis.

2 cups diced and deseeded opa(bottle gourd)doodhi/lowki
1 medium sized beet(washed and peeled)
2 medium sized carrots(washed and peeled)
1/2 inch ginger root(cleaned)

 
Preparation: In a juice extractor, extract juice for all the above
vegetables one by one. You can get 1 big glass of red colored juice. Garnish with Orange rind. great healthy drink for the whole family.
