1 pound ground turkey(any meat of your choice)
2 sheets of puff pastry(store bought)refrigerated
1/2 cup frozen peas thawed
1/2 tblsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp five spice powder
1/2 tblsp ginger paste
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
1/4 tsp sage powder
1/2 tblsp garlic paste
1 medium sized onion thinly sliced
2 tblsp vegetable oil
1 egg for egg wash

Ground turkey and pea pastry

Preparation:Preheat the oven at 375-400 degrees. In a medium sized pan, sautee onions with the oil, they are lighly golden brown.Add ginger garlic paste and sautee for 5 minutes. Add all the above spices. Then add ground turkey meat and cook thoroughly. Don't forget to add the peas. Take a sheet of pastry. Make any shapes you want. I cut square shapes and fill the pastry with 1 tsp meat and fold it into half. Before closing the sides, press the sides with egg wash to make sure they the sides don't open easily. Press the sides of the pastry with the tip of the fork to make press marks.Poke few holes on the top of the pastry to vent, otherwise the pastry might burst open.Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, till they are light golden brown and crisp.
