Prawns seared in Indian spices(jhinga masala)

1 pound tiger prawns(cleaned and devened)
1 tblsp red chilli powder
1/2 tblsp five spice powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp all purpose seasoning
1/2 tsp lemon pepper powder
1/2 tblsp lime juice
1 1/2 tblsp vegetable oil

Marinate: In a medium sized bowl marinate the prawns in all the above spices and lime
juice for atleast an hour and refigerate.

Preparation: In a saucepan, add 1 1/2 tblsp oil on a medium flame till the oil is sizzling hot. Then add prawns one by one, keeping 1/2 inch space between each prawn so that you can easily flip and sear the other side of the prawn for 3 minutes each side.
The prawns need to be cooked till they are lightly golden brown and bit medium crisp.This prawns are a great appetizers and can served all by itself or as a side dish with
white rice and dal or more.

Servings:3-4 people
cook time:15 minutes
